Most Extreme Elimination Challenge, often abbreviated as MXC, is an American comedic dub of the Japanese game show Takeshi's Castle. The original footage features various contestants attempting to conquer a series of elaborate, physically demanding, and often absurd obstacle courses and challenges overseen by a fictional Japanese general. In MXC, the original Japanese audio is completely replaced with an irreverent, often nonsensical, and always hilarious English voice-over. The American commentators provide exaggerated play-by-play, give ridiculous backstories to the contestants, and invent outlandish scenarios and names for the challenges, transforming a traditional game show into a fast-paced, laugh-out-loud comedy show focused on the painful and embarrassing failures of the participants.
